Product Application

Why Slotted Sealing Screws May Still Leak
Insufficient O-Ring Compression
If the screw is not tightened enough, the O-ring may not create continuous contact with the mating surface.
Excessive Compression
Overtightening can flatten, cut or permanently deform the O-ring, reducing its sealing capability.
Incorrect O-Ring Material
An incompatible elastomer may swell, harden or crack after exposure to oil, chemicals, heat or outdoor conditions.
