Brass or Bronze?

Brass may be selected for machinability, corrosion resistance and general mechanical applications. Bronze may be more suitable for particular wear, bearing or load conditions. The correct alloy should be confirmed from the application requirements rather than using “brass” and “bronze” interchangeably.
